Mitsubishi Australia has teased a new Triton variant called the Raider, with the ute set to hit showrooms later in 2026. Details are scarce, but the company has confirmed it's been developed with Australian conditions front of mind.
Described as the most adventurous Triton yet, the Raider draws inspiration from rally raid competition. Final pre-launch testing took place in South Australia's Flinders Ranges, with Arkaroola's notoriously rough terrain used to put the ute through its paces.
Pricing, specs, and a full reveal date haven't been announced. Mitsubishi is staying tight-lipped for now, with more information expected closer to launch.
For Triton buyers eyeing something tougher than the current top-spec Triton GSR, the Raider looks like it could be worth the wait.
