- X-Pro flagship slashed $13,000 to $64,990 drive-away
Kia has rolled out a second wave of price cuts across the Tasman range, taking up to $13,000 off the flagship X-Pro.
The new drive-away prices apply to four variants and join earlier cuts to the S 4x2 and S 4x4 introduced in January, which have remained in place ever since.
2026 Kia Tasman pricing
The biggest savings sit at the top of the range.
The X-Pro now lands at $64,990 drive-away, down from $77,990, while the X-Line drops $11,000 to $59,990. The mid-spec SX+ is reduced by $11,500 to $54,990 and the entry SX falls $6,500 to $51,990, an 11.1% cut.
| Variant | Was | Now | Saving |
| Tasman S 4x2 | $46,490 | $42,990 | $3,500 |
| Tasman S 4x4 | $53,890 | $49,990 | $3,900 |
| Tasman SX | $58,490 | $51,990 | $6,500 |
| Tasman SX+ | $66,490 | $54,990 | $11,500 |
| Tasman X-Line | $70,990 | $59,990 | $11,000 |
| Tasman X-Pro | $77,990 | $64,990 | $13,000 |
All prices are drive-away and stated to be available on 2025 build only. Kia has listed the new offers as valid until 30 June 2026, although the January reductions on the S 4x2 and S 4x4 stayed in market well past their original promotional window.
Kia Tasman sales miss the mark
The cuts arrive against a backdrop of slow sales. Kia delivered 4,196 Tasmans across the back half of 2025, well short of its internal 10,000 unit target. A more ambitious 20,000 deliveries in 12 months goal has since been shelved.
The 2026 numbers tell a similar story. Kia has registered 1,658 Tasmans nationally to the end of April. In comparison Toyota has delivered 13,427 Hiluxes and Ford has banked 15,841 Rangers over the same period.
A change of tune on discounting

Kia recently stated the brand was leaning on finance deals and value-added accessory offers rather than price cuts to lift Tasman sales.
It appears the price lever has been pulled anyway.
The new drive-away figures push the Tasman into direct comparison with mid-grade Hilux and Ranger variants rather than their flagships, which is the segment Kia has the most to gain in.
Kia's recent track record suggests these promotional prices may quietly become the new normal.
