Nissan Z Heritage Edition brings iconic purple to just 10 lucky Australians
Only 10 examples of the 2026 Nissan Z Heritage Edition are heading to Australia, finished in the legendary Midnight Purple made famous by the Skyline GT-R, priced from $77,410 before on-roads.

Nissan Australia has confirmed an ultra-limited Z Heritage Edition, and if Midnight Purple means anything to you, you need to move fast. Just 10 examples are coming to Australia.

All 10 are finished in Midnight Purple, the colour-shifting paint that made its name on the R33 Skyline GT-R in 1995 and became the stuff of JDM legend across the R34 generation that followed. It's a finish that shifts tone depending on the light and the angle, and it's never looked wrong on a Nissan performance car.
Bronze-finished RAYS 19-inch forged alloy wheels complete the look. Beyond that, the Heritage Edition is mechanically identical to the standard Z.
That means the twin-turbo 3.0-litre V6 producing 298kW and 475Nm, sent to the rear wheels through either a six-speed manual or nine-speed automatic. Standard kit includes a mechanical limited-slip differential, launch control, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, heated front seats, and a suite of active safety features including autonomous emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control.

At just $1,250 over the base Z, the Heritage Edition is barely a premium for what it delivers in visual impact. Worth noting: a facelifted Z is due locally later in 2026 with a revised front bumper, updated wheels and mechanical changes, so this Heritage Edition is based on the current pre-update model.

Ten cars, one colour, minimal premium. If you want one, the conversation with your dealer should already be happening.
