Stellantis, the parent of Jeep, Peugeot, Fiat and Alfa Romeo, has cut its quarterly net loss by 90% to €453 million, from a €4.5 billion loss a year earlier. The group reported its third-quarter 2026 results on 28 October, with revenue up 1% to €37.6 billion.

Adjusted operating profit, which strips out one-off charges, rose to €256 million from €90 million, a margin of 0.7%. The net loss still reflects €587 million of adjustments, including €223 million for the Takata airbag recall campaign and a €118 million write-down on its Leasys investment.

Stellantis Q3 2026 results by region

Stellantis burned through €4.0 billion of industrial free cash flow, which is the cash its car business generates or spends excluding its finance arms. That was €0.3 billion better than a year earlier.

  • Europe: revenue rose 3%, but Stellantis posted an adjusted operating loss of €311 million on lower pricing and a weaker sales mix. Its European passenger-car EV sales rose 65%, or 93% including Leapmotor.
  • North America: revenue fell 3% on lower volumes, with planned production downtime affecting the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Compass. Adjusted operating profit was €64 million, against a €475 million loss a year earlier.
  • Asia Pacific: revenue fell 7% on lower volumes in Australia and Japan, partly offset by India and China. The region’s operating margin improved to 4.0% from negative 0.8%.

Asia Pacific covers markets including China, Japan, India, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand, so the 7% is not an Australian result. Stellantis did not announce any changes to Australian pricing, dealers or vehicle availability.

Stellantis reaffirmed its 2026 guidance, which includes mid-single-digit revenue growth and a low-single-digit adjusted operating margin. It still expects positive industrial free cash flow in 2027. It is also on track to implement at least 40% of €6 billion in run-rate cost savings by the end of 2026, with savings in the fourth quarter expected to roughly double those of the third.

Stellantis will update its FaSTLAne 2030 plan at a Maserati-focused event in Modena, Italy, on 10 December.
