There's a new badge too. The TRX now wears the SRT name, linking it to Ram's performance division after the model was revived under new management for North America in January 2026.
Ram Trucks Australia has worked with the US since then to secure build slots for Australia and New Zealand. The appetite is already there. Several hundred local buyers tried to place pre-orders once the US return was confirmed.
"We know there is a lot of passion for the TRX in Australia, which is why we have worked hard to secure production out of the US for our market," said Jeff Barber, General Manager of Ram Trucks Australia.
"Supply of the new TRX will initially be restricted because demand is off the charts in the US, however the factory has been incredibly supportive of the Australian market and we are pleased to confirm the TRX is coming back."
