Key takeaways
- 2026 Mitsubishi Triton Raider arrives May with Premcar suspension and lifted ride height
- Pricing not yet confirmed, but expected to push past the $65,590 GSR base
- Australian showroom deliveries begin May 2026 with expressions of interest now open
Mitsubishi Australia has confirmed the 2026 Mitsubishi Triton Raider, a locally developed flagship grade built by Melbourne-based engineering firm Premcar. It arrives in dealerships next month as the new range-topper, developed specifically for Australian conditions.
Based on the MY26 Triton GSR dual-cab, the Raider is the result of around 18 months of development and more than 7,000km of outback testing. Premcar - the firm behind the Nissan Navara Warrior and the former Ford Performance Vehicles range - handles second-stage manufacturing at its Epping, Victoria facility.

Mitsubishi is positioning it squarely against the Ford Ranger Tremor ($75,090 before on-road costs) and the upcoming Nissan Navara Warrior. Pricing hasn't been locked in, but it's expected to sit well above the GSR's $65,590 starting point, potentially beyond $70,000.
2026 Mitsubishi Triton Raider specs and suspension upgrades

The headline changes are all in the chassis. Premcar developed a bespoke front and rear damper package, with the front units using an internal rebound spring for greater suspension control. New front springs, a revised jounce bumper and larger-piston dampers with increased oil capacity round out the setup.
The Raider rides on 18-inch ROH Assault alloys in Brushed Bronze with Raider hub caps, wrapped in Bridgestone Dueler A/T 002 all-terrain tyres chosen after testing four brands across 20 attributes.

Yamaha Performance Dampers - carried over from the GSR - remain fitted front and rear to manage NVH and body control.
Styling and interior

Visual changes are deliberately restrained. Mitsubishi says its research showed Australian buyers aren't fans of oversized graphics. The Raider gets Brushed Bronze Sandstorm side decals, a gloss-black front grille, unique front bumper garnish, Raider tailgate badging and a heavy-duty Raider-branded bash plate with red highlights. Side protection bars, a sports bar and underbody protection with red inserts are all standard.
Inside, it's the GSR cabin with Raider headrest embroidery, orange seat stitching and a centre console badge. Four colours are available: White Diamond, Black Mica, Blade Silver and Graphite Grey.
Mitsubishi Connect telematics with Telstra 4G is included, and the full 10/10/10 Diamond Advantage warranty - 10 years/200,000km, 10 years capped-price servicing, 10 years roadside assistance - covers the Raider like any standard Triton.
If you want a locally tuned ute with genuine off-road credentials and factory warranty backing, the Raider looks like a compelling package - once the price tag is confirmed.
