Performance and powertrain

A 166kW front motor pairs with a 282kW rear motor for combined outputs of 448kW and 740Nm in normal driving. Hit the N Grin Boost button and those numbers jump to 478kW and 770Nm for 10-second bursts, dropping the claimed 0-100km/h time to 3.2 seconds and pushing top speed to 257km/h.

Despite identical outputs to the Ioniq 5 N, the 6 N is 0.2 seconds quicker thanks to a 0.274 drag coefficient, a swan-neck rear wing generating up to 100kg of downforce and active grille shutters.

Chassis hardware includes 19.8 per cent more torsional rigidity, stroke-sensing adaptive dampers, an electronic limited-slip rear differential, and 400mm front brake discs gripped by four-piston calipers. The 20-inch forged alloys are wrapped in N-specific Pirelli P Zero 5 tyres.
