The Zeekr 7GT electric wagon will launch in Australia in the fourth quarter of 2026, and expressions of interest are open now through Zeekr Australia's website. First customer deliveries are expected in the first quarter of 2027.

Pricing hasn't been announced yet. Zeekr has confirmed three variants with up to 670km of WLTP range and a 0-100km/h time as quick as 3.1 seconds.

The 7GT is a low-slung, five-door shooting brake. It becomes the fourth Zeekr on sale locally joining the X small SUV, the 7X mid-size SUV and the 009 people mover.

It was designed in Gothenburg, Sweden, and uses Zeekr's 800V SEA platform.

Zeekr Australia managing director Frank Li said the brand is chasing buyers moving away from high-riding luxury models. "Consumers are increasingly looking beyond the traditional premium SUV," he said.

Zeekr 7GT range, performance and charging

Both rear-drive variants use a 335kW/520Nm motor. The entry RWD pairs it with a 75kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery that Zeekr developed in-house. That pack can charge from 10 to 80% in as little as 11 minutes, which is quick for LFP.

Zeekr's Golden Battery

The Long Range RWD moves to a 100kWh nickel-based (NCM) battery. It has the longest range in the line-up at 670km.

The Performance AWD adds a second motor for 500kW and 790Nm. It is also the only variant with air suspension and adaptive damping, a Sport+ drive mode, 20-inch forged wheels and orange brake calipers. Its DC charging peaks at 420kW.

The boot holds 456 litres with the rear seats up and 1,390 litres with them folded. There is also hidden storage under the floor and a ski hatch through the rear seat.

The 7GT has a five-star Euro NCAP rating. It scored 93% for crash protection and 89% for crash avoidance. An ANCAP rating has not been announced.

Zeekr covers the car with a five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty and five years of roadside assistance. The battery is covered for eight years or 160,000km. The brand expects to have more than 25 Australian dealers by the end of 2026.

Zeekr says customer orders will open in late 2026 ahead of first deliveries in early 2027. Australian pricing is expected closer to launch.
