Lexus RZ 600e F Sport Performance limited to nine Australian buyers

Lexus Australia will launch the RZ 600e F Sport Performance in the fourth quarter of 2026, priced from $135,000 excluding on‑roads. It is the most powerful production EV the brand has built, and only nine will be sold here.

Global production is capped at fewer than 200 vehicles, which makes the new flagship one of the rarest Lexus models offered locally. Eight of the brand's 31 Australian dealerships will take expressions of interest.

Lexus RZ 600e F Sport Performance power and performance

The flagship uses the same 77kWh battery and twin 167kW electric motors as the RZ 550e F Sport. A powertrain retune lifts combined output by 13kW to 313kW, with drive sent to all four wheels through the DIRECT4 system.

Lexus claims 0 to 100km/h in 4.4 seconds and up to 420km of WLTP range.

That makes it the quickest RZ, but not the quickest EV at the price. The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N claims 3.5 seconds for less money, so the Lexus relies on exclusivity and luxury rather than outright acceleration.

The chassis changes go further than the power increase. Ride height drops 20mm compared with other RZ models, and the suspension gets performance dampers front and rear with unique spring rates. The front brakes use 400mm discs with blue six piston monobloc calipers, and the rears use 317mm discs.

What sets the F Sport Performance apart

• 21 inch matte black Enkei wheels with wider 295/35 rear tyres and 255/40 fronts
• Carbon front lip, grille, bumpers, diffuser, rear spoiler, side mouldings and vented bonnet trim
• Neutrino Grey two tone paint standard, with matte Hakugin white two tone a $5000 option
• Ultrasuede trim on the heavily bolstered front sports seats, dashboard and doors
• Yoke steering wheel with steer by wire, shared with the RZ 550e F Sport
• Paddle shifters that simulate eight gears, complete with engine sound and a tachometer display

Standard equipment also includes:

• Heated and ventilated power front seats
• Heated outboard rear seats
• Dual zone climate control
• A 14 inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
• Wireless phone charging
• A 13 speaker Mark Levinson audio system

The flagship costs $30,080 more than the RZ 550e F Sport. The extra money buys 13kW, the chassis and brake upgrades, the carbon aero kit and the Ultrasuede cabin.
