  • 65kWh LFP battery, 440km WLTP range and 30-80% charging in 22 minutes
  • Seven-year warranty, eight-year battery cover, test drives from early November

Lepas has priced its first Australian model, the L6 mid-size electric SUV, from $47,990 before on-road costs. It comes in one Signature grade, with orders open now and test drives at Lepas dealers from early November.

Lepas is part of the Chery Group and is positioned above Chery as its more upmarket brand. It will be sold through Chery dealers and standalone showrooms, with 40 sites targeted by the end of 2026.

At $47,990, the L6 costs $6000 more than the similarly sized BYD Atto 3 Evo and Geely EX5, which both start at $41,990 before on-roads. It’s priced the same as the Skoda Elroq 60 Select, while the MG S5 EV Essence 62 shares the same $47,990 figure as a driveaway price, making the MG cheaper once on-roads are added to the Lepas.
