  • Dawn Purple joins Pearl White and Metallic Black as a paint choice
  • Free 7kW wall charger on cars ordered and delivered by 31 December

Leapmotor Australia has confirmed a second limited run of the C10 AWD Sports+ Special Edition, the 440kW flagship of its mid-size electric SUV range. Pricing is unchanged at $53,888 before on-road costs, and buyers can now choose a new Dawn Purple paint finish.

Customers who order and take delivery between 1 October and 31 December 2026 also get a free 7kW AC wall charger worth up to $800. Installation isn’t included, and government and rental buyers are excluded.

The original Sports+ Special Edition was announced in March with just 50 cars allocated to Australia. Leapmotor hasn’t said how many are in the second batch, which the brand has indicated will arrive in November.

Leapmotor C10

Leapmotor C10

440kW for less than an entry-level Model Y

Two electric motors produce a combined 440kW and 720Nm, and Leapmotor claims 0-100km/h in 4.0 seconds. An intelligent AWD system constantly adjusts the split between the front and rear motors for traction, stability and efficiency.

That’s double the power of the rear-drive C10 Design Long Range, which costs $4,000 less at $49,888 before on-roads. Both use the same 81.9kWh LFP battery and 800V electrical architecture, but the single-motor Design Long Range goes further, with a WLTP range of 510km against 437km for the Sports+.

The gap to Tesla is much bigger. The Sports+ undercuts the entry-level Tesla Model Y Premium RWD ($58,900) by about $5,000 and the Model Y Performance ($84,900) by around $31,000, both before on-roads.

Leapmotor C10 Interior

As with the rest of the current Australian C10 range, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto aren’t available. Ownership includes eight years of capped-price servicing and roadside assistance, with services due every 12 months or 20,000km.

The second batch is due at Leapmotor’s 25 Australian dealerships from November, and buyers chasing the free wall charger will need their car delivered by 31 December. Leapmotor hasn’t confirmed when the updated C10, which gains wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in Europe, will reach Australia.
