Ferrari has pulled the cover off the Amalfi Spider, a convertible version of its front-engined V8 grand tourer. Unveiled on 12 March 2026, it slots into the range as a 2+ seat spider aimed at buyers who want open-air performance without sacrificing everyday usability.
Power comes from a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 640hp (471kW) at 7,500rpm and 760Nm of torque. That's enough for 0-100km/h in 3.3 seconds, a 320km/h top speed, and a 0-200km/h sprint in 9.4 seconds. The engine is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission borrowed from the SF90 Stradale.
The soft top opens in 13.5 seconds at speeds up to 60km/h, and folds to just 220mm thick. Boot space drops from 255 litres with the roof up to 172 litres with it down. Six fabric options are available, including the new Tecnico Ottanio technical weave.

The Amalfi Spider rides on 20-inch wheels with Pirelli, Goodyear, or Bridgestone rubber co-developed for the application. Active aerodynamics include a three-position rear wing generating up to 110kg of downforce at 250km/h. Brake-by-wire and the ABS Evo system from the 296 GTB handle stopping duties.

Inside, a dual-cockpit layout carries over from the coupe, with a 15.6-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch central touchscreen, and a dedicated 8.8-inch passenger display. A wind deflector built into the rear seat backrest deploys at the push of a button, cutting turbulence at open-top speed.
European pricing starts at around €270,000. Orders are open now, with first deliveries expected in early 2027. Australian pricing hasn't been confirmed.
If the coupe wasn't attainable enough, the Spider won't be either, but it's hard to argue with the result.
