Key takeaways
- Plug-in hybrid e-hybrid opens the range at $127,900 before on-roads
- V6 diesel now costs $137,900, up $11,416 on the outgoing model
- Due in Australia in the first half of 2027, ordering details to come
Audi Australia has confirmed pricing and specifications for the fifth-generation Audi A6 allroad, and the high-riding wagon will be offered with plug-in hybrid power for the first time. The new e-hybrid opens the range at $127,900 before on-road costs, with local arrival due in the first half of 2027.
That’s about $1,400 more than the diesel-only A6 allroad that left Australian showrooms in 2024. The diesel itself has taken a much bigger jump, with the 3.0-litre V6 TDI now costing $137,900, up $11,416 on the outgoing model.

Audi says the new generation carries more than $10,000 of extra standard equipment, with adaptive air suspension, all-wheel steering and a switchable panoramic glass roof fitted to both variants. It is also the first model from the latest A6 family confirmed for Australia.
2027 Audi A6 allroad pricing in Australia
| Variant | Price excluding on-roads |
| A6 allroad e-hybrid quattro 270kW | $127,900 |
| A6 allroad TDI quattro 220kW | $137,900 |

Plug-in hybrid and V6 diesel powertrains
The e-hybrid pairs a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder with an electric motor for combined outputs of 270kW and 500Nm. Its 25.9kWh battery (20.7kWh usable) gives a claimed electric range of up to 87km, enough for many daily commutes on electricity alone.
Charging is AC only, with no DC fast-charging capability. Audi includes charging equipment for home and public AC use, and the cabin can be pre-conditioned before a trip. The e-hybrid also gets its own 21-inch wheels and red brake calipers.

The TDI uses a 3.0-litre turbo-diesel V6 producing 220kW and 580Nm, which is 37kW more power but 20Nm less torque than before. An upgraded mild-hybrid system adds an electrically driven compressor to reduce turbo lag when pulling away or overtaking.
Both variants use quattro all-wheel drive and a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch auto, which replaces the previous diesel’s eight-speed torque-converter auto.
Wider body, air suspension and all-wheel steering
The new body is 84mm wider than its predecessor, the first time Audi has widened the allroad in the nameplate’s 27-year history. It’s also 65mm longer at 5016mm and runs a wider track.
Adaptive air suspension offers 55mm of height adjustment. Dynamic mode drops the body 20mm, Offroad and Offroad+ modes raise it 15mm, and Lift mode adds up to 35mm at speeds below 35km/h.
At low speeds, the rear wheels turn up to five degrees against the fronts, cutting the turning circle by almost a metre to 11.4m. At higher speeds they turn up to two degrees with the fronts for added stability.
