Zeekr has repriced and upgraded the 2026 Zeekr X small electric SUV for Australia with both variants now cheaper than before on a drive-away basis and arriving in showrooms in May.
The RWD model opens at $48,900 drive-away, while the dual-motor AWD comes in at $57,900 drive-away. The previous MY25 range was priced at $49,900 and $62,900 respectively, before on-road costs - making the AWD in particular a substantially better deal.

Both variants gain 50kW of additional peak power. The RWD now produces 250kW and hits 100km/h in 5.6 seconds, while the AWD combines dual motors for a total of 365kW and a claimed 3.7-second sprint.

The RWD's upgrade is headlined by Zeekr's new 'Golden Battery' LFP chemistry with Cell-to-Pack architecture, borrowed from the larger 7X. DC fast-charging capability jumps from 150kW to 230kW, cutting the 10-80% charge time from around 30 minutes to 18. AC charging also improves across both variants - the RWD moves from 7.2kW to 11kW, and the AWD doubles from 11kW to 22kW.

Both models now include a 13-speaker Yamaha sound system, heated front and rear seats, massaging front seats (AWD only), and capacitive steering wheel controls as standard. The AWD also adds a temperature-controlled onboard fridge and a 24.3-inch augmented reality head-up display.

Service intervals tighten to 12 months or 20,000km (down from 24 months/40,000km), with capped-price servicing available for up to eight years. The RWD costs $2,662 over five years; the AWD, $3,072.
The five-star ANCAP rating from 2024 testing is expected to carry over for the updated model.
