2026 Skoda Enyaq RS arrives with lower price and bigger battery
The facelifted dual-motor electric SUV lands in Australia from Q2 2026 priced from $75,490 before on-roads - $7500 less than the outgoing Coupe RS despite a larger battery and fresh styling.

The updated Skoda Enyaq RS is headed to Australia in the second quarter of 2026 and it's cheaper than the model it replaces despite carrying more hardware.
Pricing starts at $75,490 before on-road costs for the SUV body style which is new to the RS lineup, with the sleeker Coupe RS sitting just above at $76,490 before on-roads.
Enyaq RS pricing (before on-road costs)
- Enyaq SUV RS: $75,490
- Enyaq Coupe RS: $76,490
That Coupe price is $7,500 less than the outgoing version's $83,990 list price. For context, the old RS was recently cleared at $66,990 driveaway in a final stock run, so it's not quite that sharp - but it's a more credible position against the Tesla Model Y Long Range ($68,900) and Volkswagen ID.5 GTX ($72,990).
The RS runs dual electric motors producing 250kW and 545Nm with a 0-100km/h claim of 5.4 seconds. Both figures carry over unchanged from the previous generation.
What has changed is the battery. A new 84kWh pack (79kWh usable) replaces the outgoing 77kWh unit, pushing WLTP range to 534km in the Coupe and 523km in the SUV. DC fast charging climbs from 175kW to 185kW, cutting the 10-80 per cent recharge time to around 26 minutes.
Key specs
- Power/torque: 250kW / 545Nm
- 0-100km/h: 5.4 seconds
- Battery: 84kWh gross / 79kWh usable
- WLTP range: 534km (Coupe), 523km (SUV)
- DC fast charge: 185kW (10-80% in 26 minutes)
- AC charge: 11kW

Exterior updates bring Skoda's Modern Solid design language to the front end, including new 21-inch Vision alloy wheels and an illuminated Tech Deck grille insert. Inside, ventilated front seats join the standard kit - the one meaningful addition to an otherwise unchanged features list.
A smaller Elroq RS is due in the third quarter of 2026 with pricing still to be confirmed.
Buyers wanting the performance flagship of Skoda's EV range now have a more competitive entry point, even if the fire-sale pricing of the outgoing model set a tough benchmark.
