What's new on the 2026 Mercedes-AMG C43 Edition R+
The Edition R+ marks the first time the AMG Styling Package has been fitted to the C43. The kit adds high-gloss black aerodynamic detailing across the front bumper, including a black splitter and flics around the air inlets.
At the rear, a larger high-gloss black boot lid spoiler sits above an AMG diffuser lifted from the flagship C63 S E Performance. More flics flank the rear bumper.
The car rides on 20-inch AMG 10-twin-spoke alloy wheels in matt black with a high-sheen finish, paired with red brake callipers as part of the AMG Exterior Night Package and Night Package II.
Performance and powertrain unchanged
Mechanical specs carry over from the standard C43. Power comes from a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine with an electric exhaust gas turbocharger and 48-volt mild-hybrid system, producing 310kW and 500Nm.
The engine sends drive through a nine-speed AMG SpeedShift automatic and 4MATIC all-wheel drive, with the 0-100km/h sprint taking under five seconds.
AMG Ride Control adaptive suspension and rear-axle steering are also standard, along with the AMG Dynamic Plus Package and AMG Track Pace data logging.
Inside the cabin
AMG Performance front seats headline the interior changes, trimmed in Artico man-made leather with a Nappa look and Microcut microfibre. The seats add bigger side bolsters, full electric adjustment, memory function, and heating.
The rest of the cabin matches the standard C43, with an 11.9-inch MBUX touchscreen, head-up display, Burmester 3D surround sound, and a panoramic sunroof.
