Key takeaways

- WLTP range climbs to 510km, power to 220kW
- Price holds at $49,888 before on-road costs
Leapmotor Australia has handed the 2026 Leapmotor C10 a serious technical upgrade, and buyers pay nothing extra for it. The new C10 Design Long Range BEV lands with a bigger battery, more power and much faster charging, yet keeps its $49,888 price before on-road costs. It is available to order now.
What's new on the 2026 Leapmotor C10

The biggest change sits under the skin. Leapmotor has moved the C10 BEV from a 400-volt to an 800-volt electrical architecture, the same setup used in the limited-run C10 AWD Sports+ Special Edition.
That switch unlocks quicker charging and sharper performance. The battery grows from 69.9kWh to 81.9kWh, lifting claimed WLTP range from 420km to 510km.
Smaller updates round out the package. Two NFC keycards are now standard, the tyre repair kit gains a sealant canister and Yokohama Advan Sport EV tyres replace the previous Dunlop rubber.
2026 Leapmotor C10 specs
| Specification | Previous C10 Design | 2026 C10 Design LR |
| Architecture | 400V | 800V |
| Battery | 69.9kWh | 81.9kWh |
| Range (WLTP) | 420km | 510km |
| Power | 160kW | 220kW |
| Torque | 320Nm | 360Nm |
| 0-100km/h | 7.5 seconds | 6.2 seconds |
| Max DC charging | 84kW | 180kW |
Charging is where the upgrade shines. Maximum DC fast charging jumps from 84kW to 180kW, taking the battery from 30% to 80% in roughly 22 minutes, down from about 30. The 0-100km/h sprint drops to a claimed 6.2 seconds, a big cut from the old 7.5.
2026 Leapmotor C10 price in Australia
| Model | Price |
| C10 Hybrid EV Style (MY25) | $43,888 |
| C10 Hybrid EV Design (MY25) | $45,888 |
| C10 BEV Design Long Range (MY26) | $49,888 |
| C10 BEV AWD Sports+ Special Edition (MY26) | $53,888 |
All prices exclude on-road costs. The Design Long Range now headlines the BEV range, while the dual-motor AWD Sports+ Special Edition sits above it with 440kW and 760Nm.

At under $50,000, the C10 Design LR muscles into a crowded fight against Chinese mid-size electric SUVs. The BYD Sealion 7, Geely EX5 and Zeekr 7X are all squarely in its sights.
More range, more power and faster charging for the same money is a rare combination, and it makes the updated C10 a far tougher rival than the car it replaces.
